External Registration Programme (ERP is the Research programme for working professionals from (1 R&D Organizations / Industries and (2 for Faculty members from Engineering, Agricultural, Pharmaceutical, Veterinary, Medical Colleges/ Universities, recognized by the appropriate government agencies. The candidates must be officially sponsored by their employing organization.

Ph D in Science : All the Science departments as indicated in (i except Neuroscience, High Energy Physics and Solid State & Structural Chemistry.

ELIGIBILITY :

    encourages and invite applications from interested candidates who have (a granted and valid Senior Research Fellowship (SRF (issued from

    CSIR
    , ICMR, or any other govt. funding agency - obtained based on their research interests in computational chemistry/biology/

    Biotechnology
    applications, and (b are interested to pursue Ph.D in the areas of Computer-Aided Drug Discovery and Molecular Modeling (fundamental and/or applied . ILS has expert faculty in these area of research, and has two positions.
  • The incumbent must have prior experience/demonstrated knowledge in molecular modeling, computational chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and understanding of principles of drug discovery either in academic or in an industrial setting. Once selected through the system of selection at ILS, the carried-out research would be based on the candidate's proposed research goals at the time of interview for SRF.
  • Minimal educational qualification of the candidate should be Master's in science (Chemistry, Biology, Bio-technoiogy, Pharmacy, Pharmacoinformatics from recognized academic organizations of India.
